| Among the hotels in Venice, Villa Paradiso is an oasis of calm in the heart of the Lagoon halfway between the countryside and the sea. |
Villa Paradiso is in Malamocco, one of the most characteristic and oldest areas of Venice Lido, a long way from the traffic and crowded streets. The Lido is a thin strip of land that separates Venice from the sea and which was already one of the most famous seaside resorts in Italy at the beginning of the twentieth century. The Lido is studded with splendid Liberty-style Villas, and is the setting for one of the most important society and cultural events in the world: the International Exhibition of Cinematographic Art.
At just ten minutes from Piazza San Marco the Lido is beach for Venice and its people, full of bathing establishments and small, characteristic restaurants.
Villa Paradiso is one of the few guesthouses in Venice Lido where the guests can choose from among the many sports facilities on the island: a Windsurfing club. water-skiing and sailing, tennis courts and archery, cycling paths, one of which is the famous one along the "Murazzi", and also horse-riding stables. However, Golf Club Alberoni, only 5 minutes from Villa Paradiso, with its 18-hole course, is most certainly the most famous sporting facility on the island. The Alberoni Natural Oasis with its wonderful trees and its spontaneously-growing flora, is the ideal place for a walk in the open. Also, thanks to its geographical position, the Lido is the ideal place from where to discover the lagoon's islands and to visit Chioggia e Pellestrina, small, characteristic seaside towns high up on the Adriatic coastline. For your stay on the beach, Villa Paradiso will take care of recommending the best places for enjoying the beauty of our wonderful golden beach and for those guests who want to explore the natural beauty of the Alberoni Oasis and the surrounding area of Malamocco, Villa Paradiso will provide mountain bikes and comfortable pic-nic rucksacks. |
